What hair products do you use to get the kurly hairstlye posted here? I have locs and am ready to cut them. But I want to keep my hair natural. I like the 2nd hairstyle on this page but am not sure how to get this curly look.
Once you cut your locs you will see what your natural curl pattern is. In order to achieve this look you can co wash your hair and apply either eco style gel or any of the Shea Moisture products. You will have to try different products in your hair to see what workd best for you.
I have no chemical in my hair. I am just wearing an short T.W.A. . I would like to know if there is something that can soften up my hair without chemical. I have seen some beautiful hair styles , but I dont know if they are using a chemical. Please help me.
"Shampoo" your hair with conditioner only. Moisturize with a natural oil such as coconut oil. Massage hair with a leave in condioner while still moist. Then let your hair do it's thing. "Black hair" products are not always best. They often add heaviness and often cost more than Herbal Essence, etc. which work great for me. I have very tightly coiled hair and have been natural for 3 years now. I just discovered this fact and I'm finally happy with my hair. Accept that your texture may not soften and love it anyway. It's yours.
